Jesus and Mo on Discrimination

Some religious believers struggle with the concept of discrimination. In their minds, anything than impinges on their ability to enforce their beliefs and practices on the rest of society is discrimination against them. We have seen this play out in every jurisdiction where gay marriage has been recognized.

The complaints are all the same and centre around how religious beliefs are being trampled on the the name of political correctness. The rights of others don’t matter. In the UK, there have been incidences of Islamic speakers demanding that the audiences be segregated by gender, and the vice-chancellors’ group Universities UK have acquiesced.

“Assuming the side-by-side segregated seating arrangement is adopted, there does not appear to be any discrimination on gender grounds merely by imposing segregated seating. Both men and women are being treated equally, as they are both being segregated in the same way.”

By that argument, segregating buses by race is fine as long as one group doesn’t have to sit in the back, instead the blacks can sit on the right and the whites on the left.

Bull Fucking Shit!!!

Anyway, I could rant on this all day, but a picture is worth a thousand words.
