Religious Bigotry in Halifax

Almost 3 years ago, Pattison Maritimes, the company in charge in advertising on public transit in Halifax, NS refused to allow the atheist campaign to buy space on their buses.

The comment at the time from Pattison:

The transit authority would reconsider its position if Humanist Canada toned down its message.

The offending message?

You can be good without God.

The rationale is that they try to avoid controversial ads.

Metro Transit spokeswoman Lori Patterson said it has a policy against running any religious or political ads to avoid controversy.

But, that was then and this is now.

Halifax Bus

Harold Camping, as supported by the Seventh Day Adventists,is apparently not too controversial for them.
