There is a Blog of It

A link passed around on Google+ brought to my attention the simple fact that a new rule needs to be added to the internet. The existing rules have been around for a while, and it’s time they were updated. We know that rules etched in stone are meant to be unchanged and followed blindly forever.  However, in some cases, someone picks up a runed rock left behind or maybe there are enough changes that  revisions are necessary.

Sites like WordPress and Blogspot have made blogging easy for the unwashed masses (even me). Similar to Rule # 34, we need to add Rule # 48: There is a blog of it.

Just in case you were wondering what prompted this, I present exhibit # 1:

Blackboards in Porn

Celebrating pornographers who go the extra mile when set dressing classroom porn and actually write something on the blackboard. What do they write, and is it correct?

Here is a sample post

Compound Angle Formulae

sin (A + B)
= sin A cos B + cos A sin B

cos (A + B)
= cos A cos B – sin A sin B

tan (A + B)
= tan A + tan B
1 – Tan A Tan B

A-level standard trigonometry. Maths all correct. Good pluralisation of ‘formulae’. Neat handwriting. Loses a mark for ‘Tan’ instead of ‘tan’. But otherwise: excellent work!
9/10

Who hasn’t watched porn and wondered if the material presented in the background was accurate? Sometimes it’s hard to get a good image—body parts often obscure the blackboard or the camera pans too quickly and you don’t have enough time to evaluate the  lesson. It can be very frustrating. But now you have  a place to go to find out what those blackboards are trying to say.
