I have been asked to share the following event information.
On Thursday October 18th at 6:00pm in the Quad infront of Main Building at the University of Prince Edward Island (Rain location is McMillan Hall in the WA Murphy Student Centre) the UPEI Rainbow Alliance will be holding their 3rd annual Candlelight Vigil Against Homophobia and Bullying. This event is to educate people, and remember those who have taken their lives, or had their lives taken, due to homophobia and other kinds of bullying. There will be guest speakers, musical performances, and the Candlelight ceremony.
This is a great chance to support the Alliance. They are also looking for more youth to talk briefly about any experiences they have of being bullied for any, or no reason.
