Science is a process that is often considered to consist of several steps:
- Observation/Research
- Hypothesis
- Prediction
- Experimentation
- Conclusion
One of most important steps, and one that is often left out of the list is communication. Unless you are doing an experiment just to inform yourself, it is important that you let others know both your conclusion and how you came to that conclusion.
If you aren’t doing it right, there may be consequences.
