West New york in New Jersey is now the home of Mary on a Tree.
Eva Copantitla of West New York said she first noticed the image on Tuesday around 3 p.m. She then informed Mayor Felix Roque, who allowed flowers to be placed at the base of the tree.
“Most of the people believe it’s a miracle,” Copantitla said, adding that she believes it will bring the people of West New York together.
Mary is now tasked with saving the city from crime.
“There’s a lot of corruption going on in this town,” said West New York man George Morene. “Hopefully this brings some kind of goodness into the town.”
